How did FPCD get so fortunate! So many talented and hard working members of our staff and congregation blessed us with a wonderful Easter Sunday celebration.
First, our Easter Brunch was awesome. We have some wonderful chefs. Dave Young & crew whipped up some yummy breakfast casseroles and Dave organized countless others in providing many extra dishes, pastries and fruit. Mitchell Hall was beautifully decorated with spring flowers. Thank you Jane Mykytenko and Donna Barranger. The fellowship and wonderful meal was appreciated.
Our Easter Worship Service was started with the Bells of Heaven and continued with the beautiful voices of our Cantors and Sanctuary Choir. We know Brenda lead them in countless hours of rehearsal. Our children enjoyed their message and Easter treats from Emily and Barret. Pastor Jim failed to pass out treats to us adults but he made up for it with a very meaningful message on sharing God’s love to others. I’m sure he prayed for a beautiful sunny Easter day… but what’s up with the snow today?
